WHAT WILL I ACTUALLY RECEIVE?
Reporting should explain what the numbers mean for your business. This fictional example shows the kind of information a reporting pack can bring together; the actual contents depend on your scope.
Against an agreed budget of £50,000.
After £32,400 direct costs and £16,200 overheads.
£21,000 opening cash + £48,000 receipts − £51,000 payments.
£7,800 of customer invoices are overdue. Confirm collection dates and review the next supplier payment run against the cash forecast.
Management accounts show profit and balances. Cashflow forecasting and credit-control activity depend on the service agreed.

A FEW USEFUL ANSWERS
Fluent Finances can work alongside your accountant or bookkeeper. The focus is ongoing records, useful reporting, cash planning and finance management. Statutory accounts, audit and specialist tax work stay with the appropriate external adviser.
Only if it is included in your written quote. Starting prices for reporting and senior support assume your records are already maintained. If you need both, the combined quote lists the complete service and one total fee.
The quote is based on the tasks you need, transaction volume, record quality, number of businesses and delivery frequency. It confirms the total monthly fee and identifies any one-off onboarding, catch-up or software costs and applicable VAT before you agree.
Active invoice chasing can be agreed as additional credit-control work. Reviewing overdue balances is included where listed, but does not automatically include chasing. Supplier payment planning can be included; your business retains approval and authorisation of payments.
Through agreed accounting-system access, document sharing and scheduled phone or video calls. Your proposal sets reporting dates, meeting frequency, available support and how urgent requests are handled.
The written proposal confirms any minimum term, notice period and available capacity before work starts. You can also request a fixed-scope one-off project.
The experience behind Fluent Finances includes preparing FCA returns and reconciled financial information for audit and regulatory reviews. Any client work is assessed individually, with specific returns, supporting schedules, deadlines and responsibilities agreed before it starts.
Yes. Fluent Finances is led by a Xero Certified, AAT-qualified and CIMA part-qualified finance professional with 25 years of practical finance experience. Support is also available with Sage and Excel.
